My San Diego Story begins in 2017, when I broke free from the comforts of the Midwest to embark on a new and fabulous California adventure. I was sure I would love it... how could I not?! Little did I know how lonely it would actually be. I would travel home several times a year to fill my love cup. Then, Covid hit... how would I fill my love cup now?

After reading Together by Vivek Murthy, I realized the book club I had started at the beginning of Covid wasn't enough. While it was a great start, we needed more. More ways to connect and participate in community. More opportunities to forge lasting bonds with others, share life experiences, and give back and help one another.

Building that connective tissue is my goal with the San Diego Social Club.
